Join us (each season) to plant fall and spring annuals in A Woman’s Garden. Our mornings typically include a private garden update—highlighting progress in the Pecan Parterre and the Burgess Serenity Garden.

Post-Shift Tradition
After each Volunteer Day shift, we enjoyed (or will enjoy) an optional self-hosted lunch on the Café DeGolyer Terrace—a lovely opportunity to visit with fellow volunteers.

- Dress for planting and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes
- Bring garden gloves
- Long pants are recommended (we’ll be kneeling while planting)
- Women’s Council green T-shirt provided if needed

9:30 AM: Volunteers met at Gate 2 in the Camp House parking lot.
9:45 AM: We walked to the garden and planted seasonal annuals throughout A Woman’s Garden.
Tour & Updates: Susan Banks led a tour with updates and future plans for the garden.
Lunch: Many stayed for a Dutch-treat lunch at Café DeGolyer, enjoying time together in a smaller setting.
