Donor Naming

There are donor naming opportunities throughout A Woman’s Garden, offering a lasting way to honor a loved one, celebrate a milestone, or leave a personal legacy within this extraordinary space. Below are just a few examples of available opportunities and features that may be named through your generous support.

The Boxwood Niche

A living jewel in the landscape, the Boxwood Niche is an intimate, classical garden expressed with a modern aesthetic. It introduces a new cultivar to the Dallas Arboretum—Green Velvet Boxwood—stately specimens that will mature into an undulating cascade of evergreen forms.

Set of Planters

A set of three limestone English ornamental planters, designed to complement the Boxwood Niche.

Circle of Honor

At the center of the Boxwood Niche, a stone medallion offers engraved recognition for significant contributions to the Women’s Council and A Woman’s Garden.

Engraved Stones — The Pulpit

The Pulpit is a heart-shaped viewing area overlooking A Woman’s Garden. This limestone structure features Bluestone flooring that offers engraved donor recognition for special gifts.

Magnificent Specimen Trees

Across A Woman’s Garden, donor naming opportunities are available for hand-selected specimen trees—many unique to the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden.
  • Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum)
  • Blue Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica)
  • Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides)
  • Deodar Cedar ‘Blue Ice’ (Cedrus deodara ‘Blue Ice’)
  • Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum)
  • Paperbark Maple (Acer griseum)
  • Mexican Sycamore (Platanus mexicana)
